When getting ready to meet with your Power of Basics consultant:

Step 1 - Install Skype

Have video Skype fully installed on your computer before the meeting begins.  If you do not have Skype click here to download and install it now.

Step 2 - Check your equipment

Test Skype at least once before the initial meeting to make sure you don't need a headset and that the program is installed effectively.  However, even with plenty of planning, expect to spend at least 5 minutes getting settled at the beginning of each meeting.

Step 3 - Be ready to take notes

Open Skype chat alongside video chat so you and your consultant can share information, links and "To Do Lists" easily and effectively while in conversation.  You will then be able to save this information within Skype to reference later.

In addition to having chat open, please have a pen and paper available for taking notes.

During your initial Skpe meeting your consultant will spend time gathering information that will be used to make a basic assessment of your business and personal goals in order to determine corporate compatibility. 

During this time, it is important you also use this meeting to interview your Power of Basics consultant.  We want to ensure all of your questions and concerns are addressed from the outset of the relationship, so please feel comfortable asking us the tough questions as well.

The meeting itself will be conversational in nature and laden with probing and difficult questions.  Your responses to these questions is confidential and only discussed with the Power of Basics team. 

When providing answering, please be as detailed and thorough as possible.  This will enable the Power of Basics team to provide a complete anlysis of the situation and provide a plan of action that will accomplish the goals you have established.

After the initial meeting your lead consultant will present your case the the Power of Basics team for review.  This process can take between 5 - 14 days

Together, we will review your situation and determine:

1 - If the relationship between your organization and Power of Basics be sustainable

2 - How the Power of Basics can meet your needs in a valuable and tangible way

If we determine that the relationship is viable and a clear plan visible, we will present you with a proposal that will detail at least three potential options for working together.
